July 2009: The Far Away Centre is featured in "The Book of English Magic" and Marcus Katz named in the acknowledgements.
July 2009: The first TAROSOPHY® Tarot conference is held with Rachel Pollack and leading teachers of Tarot & Astrology.
June 2009: Marcus is contracted to write two books - one on Magick and another on Tarot. These will feature unique and unpublished work from thirty years of practice and study and will be published in Spring and Summer 2010. April 2009: Marcus delivers an academic paper on Tarot at the PCA/ACA conference, New Orleans. "Marcus is someone who Knows - who really Knows, where others can only guess". - Rachel Pollack, Author of "78 Degrees of Wisdom". "... The Tarot reading all came together and for the first time I actually feel a sense of achievement. Where we are (location map) The Far Away Centre is based at our cottage, in the woods, overlooking a river, here in Keswick. For our training courses & Workshops, we also use a range of venues in Keswick including the Theatre by the Lake (for lectures & talks) and the Learning Centre at the Keswick Museum. Your joining instructions will indicate your training venue. We recommend using the Searchable Database at http://www.keswick.org to locate a B&B, Campsite or Hotel to meet your requirements. All venues are central Keswick, so your chosen accommodation should be within walking distance - its a small market town!

Getting Here (Transport) Keswick is situated off the A66 about 14 miles west of Penrith, which is on the M6 (J40). By car this is about 2 hours from Manchester. Travelling by train? You'll arrive/depart at Penrith and we can arrange transport for you to/from Keswick as part of your course fee (there are also frequent buses taking 40mins to Keswick or Taxis, which is a more expensive option!) Arriving from a UK or Overseas Airport? The nearest airports are Manchester, Birmingham & Newcastle (Teeside).
